Dear Parents/Guardians,
On Saturday the 5 th November, there will be a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and
Mathematics) event at the European University in Nicosia. The goal of this event is to encourage girls
between the ages of 11 and 15 to follow the Sciences. The girls will be involved in various fun,
interactive activities. There will be robotics, competitions and drone programming. Also, they will
meet successful women working in the STEM fields. Finally, they will be given the chance to visit the
medical research and dentistry labs in the University. This event will be in Greek.
Transportation will be provided by the school according to the number of girls attending the trip.
