PTA Cultural Event

FRIDAY  5th April 2024

1.45 p.m. – 4.00 p.m.

The PTA are excited to announce that the annual Cultural Event will take place on Friday 5th April 2024 starting at 1.45 p.m.

This is a fundraising event which focuses on embracing the diversity of Med High School.  Everyone is welcome and a ticket is only needed to sample food.  We will also have music, dancing, face painting, inflatables, games and performances.

For one week prior and on the day of the event you can purchase a ticket of 5 stamps (10€) or 3 stamps (6€).   Each country serving food will “charge” you 1 stamp per dish. You can buy 1 ticket for your whole family. Every person entering does not have to pay for a ticket. The ticket simply allows you to sample different food.

If you wish to pay for drinks, games and activities these are all optional.  These stalls will all be token-based and beer and wine will also be sold at the PTA bar.

 What to do next to get involved:

  • Create a group to represent your home country.
  • Allocate someone to be the team leader so they can liaise with the PTA.
  • Try to get parents from your community to donate a small amount of money to cover your stall expenses even if they aren’t helping on the day.

Fill in a booking form available from the PTA or front office and return it to the school office by the 29th of February 2024.
