🎨 Med High Explores the Larnaca Biennale! πŸ›οΈ

What an incredible day of art, culture, and inspiration for our students at the Larnaca Biennale!

Our students had the unique opportunity to experience contemporary art in a beautiful historic setting, engaging with thought-provoking installations both outside and within the old buildings.

  • Exploring Unique Installations: From the striking, spiky outdoor sculpture transforming the building to the intricate indoor pieces made of sand, wire, and fabric, the students witnessed art that challenges and provokes.

  • Historical Context Meets Modern Art: The contrast between the ancient stone walls and the modern exhibitions offered a rich backdrop for learning about different artistic forms and how art interacts with space and history.

  • Engaging with Culture: A wonderful chance for our students to step outside the classroom, connect with the cultural pulse of Cyprus, and find inspiration in the works of talented artists.

We believe that exposure to the arts is vital for developing creativity, critical thinking, and a global perspective. Well done to all the students who represented Med High so wonderfully!
