Dear Parents / Guardians,
We proudly invite you to join the Med High “Run for Harry” Team in raising money for a worthy cause whilst representing our school in the 8th Radisson Blu International Marathon, on Sunday 16th November.
Every year we honour the memory of Harry, an ex-student who passed away from cancer at the age of twenty-one, but also other members of the Med High community who have sadly passed away too soon. On Friday 14th November all students and staff will come into school with their Harry’s Day t-shirts and our annual photograph will be taken. This year, the money raised from the purchasing of the t-shirts, sponsors and donations will go to the Arodaphnousa Palliative Care Centre in Nicosia, a facility that takes care of people with cancer. A huge thank you to Aloha Browser, our generous sponsor for this year!
Any student, parent, family or friend can register for any of the races below. Registration forms can be filled and t-shirts paid for at the Charity Club desk which will be found at the entrance of the school, between 7:15 – 7:35 a.m. in the morning, starting on Monday 27th October. The deadline for entry and for ordering a t-shirt is Tuesday 11th November.
The cost of the t-shirt and registration is €5.
The corporate race with a distance of 5km is open to adults or students 12 years old and above and begins at 11:45 a.m.
The kids race with a distance of 1km is open to students 4 years old and begins at 13:00.
