Euromath and EuroScience

Dear Parents/Guardians,

We are proud to announce that our school will participate in the EuroMath and EuroScience conference, which will take place in Thessaloniki, Greece, from the 12th to the 16th of March 2025.

Due to the limited number of participants, students must meet the following criteria. Please note that priority will be given to students in Year 4, Year 5, and Year 6, followed by students in Year 3:

  1. Open to Year 3, Year 4, Year 5, and Year 6 students.

 

  1. For Year 3 and Year 4:
    1. All students can participate in the EuroMath Conference.
    2. Students who have chosen Biology, Chemistry, or Physics can participate in the EuroMath Conference and/or the EuroScience Conference, based on their chosen science subject.
  2. For Year 5 and Year 6:
    1. Students who have chosen A-Level Mathematics and/or GCSE Statistics can participate in the EuroMath Conference.
    2. Students who have chosen A-Level Biology, Chemistry, or Physics can participate in the EuroScience Conference.
  • Students who have chosen A-Level Mathematics and A-Level Biology, Chemistry, or Physics can participate in the EuroMath and/or the EuroScience Conference, based on their chosen science subject.

There is an estimated fee of 800 euros per person. The final price will be announced at a later stage.

Visa Requirement
If your child requires a visa to travel to Greece, we strongly advise that the visa application process be started immediately upon confirming their participation. It is the responsibility of each family to obtain the necessary visa approval before the travel dates.

If you would like your child to participate, please fill in the consent slip (available in the front office) and return it to the Mathematics Department by Friday, 11th  October 2024.
