Eco Club: Planting! 🪴

Eco-Club:

This week, our Eco-Club students, together with the Science Department staff, proudly took part in the Net Zero for Youth initiative by planting beetroot seeds. (Alion Vegetables and Fruit Co. Ltd)

Net Zero for Youth (NZ4Y) in collaboration with CYMEPA empowers young people across Cyprus to adopt greener lifestyles, understand their environmental impact, and contribute to a more sustainable future.

Over the coming weeks, students will nurture their plants, observing each stage of growth while learning about sustainability, responsible farming, and the importance of caring for our environment.

This activity also supports our third Erasmus+ objective: fostering environmental consciousness and green awareness among both learners and staff.

Time will tell whether our students and teachers truly have green fingers! 🌱
