One of our greatest initiatives here at Med High are our cross curricular projects. As leaders in cross curricular learning, we devote ample time in developing crucial 21st century skills via inter departmental collaborations.
Our Erasmus+ visitors were able to observe a cross curricular conference simulation organized by the Humanities, Science and Languages Departments. The theme of our conference was ‘Climate Change and Food Security’.
Congratulations to our Year 3 students for preparing so meticulously over the past few weeks and a big thank you to Mrs. Effie Georgiou, Mrs. Koulla Andronicou, Mr. Moysis Pitsillos and Mrs. Angela Ioannou for guiding them.
Erasmus+ Week!
This week we have the pleasure of hosting 15 teachers from our partner schools in Portugal, Poland, Austria, Germany and Latvia as part of the Erasmus+ program.
Our European colleagues are here to observe various lessons, jobshadow us, take part in a cross curricular conference simulation and of course explore our beautiful island, starting with a lovely tour of Larnaca which has been organized with care by Mr. Avgerinos Santamas, Mr. Efthymios Kakouris and Mrs. Georgina Lysandrou.
We are all excited to welcome them, exchange best practices and embark on exciting projects together in the future!
