Crazy Hair Day! 🪮

Pre-school and Junior school students went all out for Crazy Hair Day – and WOW did they deliver! 🪮✨

From colourful creations to gravity-defying styles, the creativity was incredible!

Most importantly, today was about more than just wild and wonderful hair. We came together to support a children’s cancer charity “Ένα όνειρο μια ευχή“, raising both awareness and funds for an incredibly meaningful cause.

We are so proud of our little superstars for getting involved, having fun, and showing that even small acts can make a big difference. 🌟

Thank you to our amazing families for your support and generosity!

World Thinking Day 🧠

Celebrating World Thinking Day at Med High!

It was amazing to see our scout teachers and students proudly wearing their uniforms in honor of the movement’s founders. Beyond the badges and camps, this day reminds us of the true message of scouting:

Being prepared, serving our community, and living by founder Lord Baden-Powell’s famous words to “Try and leave this world a little better than you found it.”

Economics, Business and Accounting Petrolina Trip! 👷

High School:
The Year 6 students visited the Petrolina Vassilikos Fuel Terminal as part of their educational field trip on their studies for Economics, Business and Accounting.
Mr. Stephanos Christophides, the Vassilikos Terminal manager, gave the students an insightful presentation and a tour of the terminal (subject to Petrolina‘s safety standards) supporting their learning about their operations, health and safety, quality and environmental protection systems.
Interactive discussions with the students raised matters about the current state of fuels in Cyprus, the future trends related to the energy transition and climate change, as well as Petrolina’s broader activities in the energy transition, including the Petrolina solar business.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Mr. Stephanos Christophides and to Ms. Tonia Lefkaritis, from Petrolina’s leadership team, for giving our students this valuable opportunity. The students felt truly privileged to be granted access to the terminal and to gain first-hand insight into the company’s operations. Such initiatives clearly demonstrate Petrolina’s strong commitment to supporting the local community through meaningful and engaging educational experiences.

Year 1 Identity Boxes! 🗃️

High School:
Year 1 have been reading novels that explore important themes like friendship, loyalty, and identity. To bring these ideas to life, they’ve made “Identity Boxes” filled with special items – trinkets, photos, and proud achievements – that show who they are and what has shaped them so far.

It was amazing to see them share their boxes with the class and celebrate the unique young people they’re becoming. 💛
