“Discover the 7Cs” Helsinki Trip
Finland is widely recognised as a global leader in education and pedagogical innovation, making it the perfect setting for our Erasmus+ Coordinator, Koulla Andronicou and Science teacher, Dr Chara Olympiou to explore the future of education.
They recently completed the Erasmus+ funded course “Discover the 7Cs: Learning for Life (and Work) in the 21st Century” in Helsinki. The course offered a deep dive into the 7 essential soft skills needed in today’s world, with a strong focus on how these competencies can shape future curricula and inspire innovative teaching practices.
Both members of staff are now looking forward to sharing their insights and practical strategies with the wider team, helping to enrich teaching and learning across the school.
A heartfelt thank you to Dr Irena Papa and the Europass Teacher Academy, Helsinki for delivering such an enlightening, practical, and thoroughly enjoyable learning experience!

Well done, Zack! (NZ4Y)
We are incredibly proud to share that Zack Kanti, year 5, was selected as one of only 60 participants out of 1,200 possible members to attend the Net Zero For Youth (NZ4Y) celebration in Nicosia!
NZ4Y is an inspiring initiative that empowers youth aged 12–18 to adopt greener lifestyles and take action toward a more sustainable future. This marks Med High Eco Club’s first year participating, beginning with a hands-on seed and seedling cultivation project.
Zack was chosen for his outstanding engagement and dedication to the cause.
Well done, Zack! We can’t wait to see you step into a mentorship role with the Eco Club next year, championing sustainability and inspiring others to follow your lead!
