Science Fair! 🧑‍🔬🔬

Today Med High students celebrated the wonderful world of Science with videos, models, experiments and a hall of scientists from both the present and past!

The atmospheric Science Fair had the theme of ‘Biomimicry,’ with years 1 and 2 showcasing how in this modern, technology based world, science is still inspired by the natural world about us. Grade 6 students researched and took on the role of their scientist, communicating their life story and contribution to science in a novel way!

Congratulations to our young scientists for their hard work and enthusiasm, but also to their teachers Dr Chara and Ms Katerina for their dedication and inspiration!

Visit to Larnaca Castle

High School:

Year 1 students had an exciting opportunity to bring their classroom learning to life with a visit to Larnaca Castle. As they explored the historic fortress, they engaged with the concepts we have been studying in class about medieval castles, deepening their understanding through hands-on experiences.

From examining the castle’s defensive structures to observing historical artifacts up close, students were able to connect theory with reality. Their curiosity was evident as they asked insightful questions and reflected on the significance of the site.

This visit not only enriched their learning but also fostered a deeper appreciation for history. A truly memorable experience for our young learners!
