Kira Garshina’s Historic Achievement for Med High!

A Historic Achievement for Med High Private English School!

We are beyond proud to announce that Kira Garshina (Year 4) has been selected as one of the four girls to represent Cyprus at the European Girls’ Mathematical Olympiad (EGMO) after a highly competitive process. This marks a historic milestone for our school, as it is the first time Med High has a student selected for this prestigious competition.

Under the guidance of her teacher, Mrs. Louiza Frangou, Kira’s success is a testament to her dedication and talent. It also reflects the exceptional work within our Mathematics Department, which has consistently guided students to achieve outstanding results in various competitions, and IGCSE and A Level examinations over the years.

We are extremely proud of you, Kira. The sky is the limit for what lies ahead, and we can’t wait to see all the incredible things you will achieve!

Best of luck at EGMO! Your Med High family and the whole of Cyprus are cheering for you!

AI in Education – Training Course

With the development of Artificial Intelligence (AI), education is undergoing a major period of reform and evolution. In order for Med High Schools to be up to date with these developments, our Academic Director, Mr Yannis Pavlou and IT Manager, Mr Adamos Ioannou, followed a course in Barcelona on ‘Artificial Intelligence in Education- Teaching and learning in the age of AI.’

The knowledge gained from this training will be passed on to staff through a series of training sessions and will be implemented in the classroom in the near future.

As we are an accredited school, the training was funded by the Erasmus+ program and is in line with our second objective of improving 21st Century Skills in both staff and students. We thank Euromentor for an interesting and stimulating course!
