Gold DofE Practice and Qualifying Expedition!

Year 5 and Year 6 students embarked on their Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) practice and qualifying expeditions, which involved building their own shelters, hiking through rugged terrain, and exploring the mountains. As the highest level of the DofE, the Gold Award challenges participants with 4 days and 3 nights of navigating, camping, and teamwork in unfamiliar environments.

It’s an impressive achievement, and we now look forward to the upcoming Bronze and Silver journeys!

Celebrating European Languages Day

High school:
🎉 Celebrating European Languages Day at Med High! 🌍✨

As a school that embraces global diversity, it was impossible not to join in the celebration of languages!

The Department of Languages organized an exciting event during the first break, where students got the chance to explore the beauty of European languages through fun activities, quizzes, and cultural exchanges. To make the day even sweeter, participants received small gifts! 👕🍪

Special thanks also goes out to EUROPE DIRECT – Larnaca!
It was a fantastic celebration of diversity, bringing us closer through the power of languages. Let’s continue to embrace multilingualism and different cultures!
