Presentation for Year 1 and 2

This month, a presentation was held for Year 1 and 2 by our School Psychologist, Ms. Theodora Constantinou. The event focused on the importance of positive self-talk, and how it can help students overcome negative thoughts that can impact their mental health. The students were engaged in a video presentation and an interactive game that reinforced the importance of positive thinking.

“I am incredibly proud of our students for their excellent behaviour and active participation during the ‘positive self-talk’ presentation. Their enthusiasm and willingness to learn were truly inspiring, and I have no doubt that they will use what they learned to enhance their well-being and success in the future.” – Theodora Constantinou, Med High Psychologist.

Science Fair

We are delighted to share the success of our recent Science Fair, held at the end of this month. This year’s event had a unique theme centred around saving our planet, which was especially relevant given the current climate change crisis and its impact on humans and animals alike. The aim was to showcase that science, maths, and engineering can provide solutions to these challenges.

The Science Fair was an opportunity for our students to explore different scientific concepts and ideas in a fun and engaging way. We are incredibly proud of our students for their hard work and ability to explain scientific concepts in easily understandable ways, making it an educational and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.

Mrs. Koulla Andronikou, our Head of Science and Biology, oversaw the event from its inception, adding at the end that, “It was really exciting to see the research that has gone into some of these projects, but also the creativeness not only in what they’ve produced but also in the topics they’ve found.

Many of our children realised how important it is to explain and describe scientific concepts in easy and understandable ways, making this event a great success!”

We look forward to seeing what our students will achieve in future Science Fairs and how they will contribute to making our world a better place.
