Earthquake Donations
This was a cause we wish we did not have to collect for – supplies for the thousands of victims of last week’s deadly earthquake. However, it often takes a tragedy to bring out the best in people and we were blown away by your response.
We would like to thank everyone involved in this campaign from the students, staff and other volunteers who assisted in the collection, packaging and delivery of donations.
But most of all we would like to thank you all for your generous donations which filled a minibus, pick-up truck and three cars… an amazing achievement!

Happy Tsiknopempti 2023!
Med High celebrated Tsiknopemti this year with organised games, sports and of course delicious souvlaki!
We would like to congratulate Mr. Avgerinos for his original and well-designed activities which were thoroughly enjoyed by students and staff alike.
We would also like to thank Mr Mihalis, Mr Andros and Year 6 students for succeeding in their Herculean task of cooking for the whole of the school!

Frankenstein Art!
High School:
Med High’s Year 3 English classes explored a myriad of themes in Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein.
An exploration of life, death, resurrection, science, religion, loneliness, rejection and love.
These ideas were then portrayed within their appreciation of art!

Earthquake relief collection
Med High Charity Club has begun its collection of blankets, winter clothes, dry foods and hygiene products for the victims of last week’s devastating earthquakes.
Donations will be sent to BOTH Turkey and Syria on Friday so the last drop-off day is Thursday morning.
Well done to our young volunteers especially Alex Theoklitou year 6, who is our campaign coordinator!

“Many people will be happy!” was the gleeful reaction Sister Thomas had when students delivered your kind donations from this year’s Food Drive. All items were given to vulnerable members of our local community who are struggling this cold season.
