#HarrysDay Donation!
There is no more fitting way to begin the festive holiday than to selflessly give to our fellow citizens and in the process teach our children the importance of altruism, empathy and kindness.
Mr. George Matsangos and Ms. Tonia Phinica Nicolaou from the Autism Society Of Larnaca met with our Academic Director, Mr Yannis Pavlou, and representatives of the Charity Club to express their gratitude for the donation raised from our ‘#HarrysDay’ event. The money will assist in their tireless campaign to raise awareness of autism.
Volunteers from the Charity Club delivered your generous donations of food, hygiene products and toys to Sister Thomas from St Joseph’s Convent who will distribute them to vulnerable families – local residents from different religious, economic and social backgrounds who are struggling this Christmas.
On behalf of the Med High Charity Club we would like to thank you for your generosity this semester and wish you a restful holiday and a healthy and peaceful New Year!

Visit from Calix!
Junior School:
Today in our Junior School we had a visit from Calix!
Laughter filled the room as tiny hands reached to pet him and the simple presence of this furry friend brought an undeniable warmth and sheer joy to all students.
Hercules myths explored
High School:
High school students recently visited a theme park in Limassol dedicated to Hercules myths. This was a tangible and immersive learning experience for all students. They were able to see the stories they’ve been studying in class come to life, making the subject matter more engaging and memorable!
Many Hercules myths involve complex challenges and problem-solving situations. Encountering these scenarios at the theme park stimulated critical thinking skills and encouraged students to analyze the hero’s actions and decisions.
The Greek teachers, Mrs Joanna, Miss Katerina, Mrs Anastasia and Miss Georgina are very proud of all the students who took part!

Broad world of Physics!
High School:
In December, we welcomed Mr. Dimitris Tsangaridis to our Science lessons to talk to the students about the exciting and broad world of Physics!
Dr. Tsangaridis is a University of Cyprus physics graduate and has completed an internship at CERN. He spoke about subatomic particles and experiments that currently run at CERN.
At the end, he demonstrated some physics experiments, asking the kids to participate and use their critical thinking.
