Dear Parents/Guardians,
We would like to inform you that our school is organising an optional educational trip to the Global Universities Exhibition for Year 4, 5 and 6 students. This event is taking place on Thursday the 20th of October 2022 at the Columbia Plaza Hotel in Limassol.
Representatives from 70 universities and seven countries will be available to advise students on issues regarding studying in the UK, USA, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Cyprus. The exhibition will be open from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Entry to this event is free for all attendees.
In order to transport students to and from this exhibition, a bus will be departing from our school at 2:30 p.m. and will be returning at 7:30 p.m. I will be accompanying students at all times during this event.
The overall purpose of this field trip is for our students to have the opportunity to talk to admissions advisors and collect academic information that will be very helpful to them in making decisions regarding their further education. Students do not have to wear school uniform to this event; however, they should be smartly dressed and behave appropriately at all times!
The bus fare is 10 Euros and a minimum of 25 students need to sign up in order for this trip to take place. There are only 50 seats available, therefore, please reserve your place as soon as possible! Priority will be given to students for this event, but in case there are empty seats in the bus then parents will be welcome to escort their children for the price of 10 Euros per person. Please sign this letter and bring it along with the money to the Finance Office by Thursday the 13th of October 2022.
